Q: What quantity of seeds is required per acre ?
It is estimated that one acre takes about 22,000 sunflower plants and our seeds i.e. Hysun 33, Aguara 4, and Aguara 6 have 17,000 per 1kg. Therefore for a farmer having a 5 acre fam will need only 6.5 kgs of our seeds (Hysun 33, Aguara 4, Aguara 6).
Q: What's the Oil content for Aguara 4 ?
Aguara 4 has an oil content of 48 % to 52%.
Q: How many seeds per hole ?
We recommend planting one seed per hole, remember every seed is one plant so planting two seeds will increase the costs of planting.
Q: Can I replant the seeds from grains next season ?
Offspring of hybrids won’t consistently or predictably have the same traits as the parent plant. Yield, disease resistance - whatever traits the parent plant had - offspring will not be guaranteed to express the same traits.

For Hysun 33 its 800 to 1200 kg per acre.
For Aguara 4 its 800 to 1400kgs per acre.
For Aguara 6 its 800 to 1200 per acre.
Q: What's the difference between Hybrid and OPV’s ?
Open pollinated seeds are seeds from flowers that were pollinated without any control over where the pollen came from, so they will potentially be of different varieties than the parent
Hybrid seeds are simply crosses between two known parental lines. They are no usually open pollenated as in order to get a reliable result, the source of the pollen needs to be controlled. When we talk about hybrids, we usually mean commercial F1 hybrids, where the two parents are almost homozygous to ensure the offspring are genetically consistent.
